I grew up in Maine, and for most of my youth I couldn’t wait to leave
and take on the world. That is exactly what I did living and working in Boston, Providence and Los Angeles as an art director for the next 10 years. But like many Maine natives, I eventually returned to my roots continuing my career in Portland, where I honed my skills in conceptual design and branding on accounts including Maine Medical Center, Sylvania and Hood.

In 2009 I pursued a second degree in ecology to fulfill a life long dream of working as a wildlife biologist. In the process I rediscovered my passion for design and now combine my love of art and science into a unique career—saving the world and making it prettier. I live with my husband Rick, and our cat, Wombat, in Portland, Maine.
